• Navigate below the product selection screen to search for a laptop or desktop computer.
• Enter all required configuration information until you reach the support page for your device. Click the Download button in the left menu and navigate to the utility. Scroll down to the MSI gaming application.
• Click on the red download icon next to your name to start the download process. Find the file in the Downloads folder, right click on it, select Extract Installer and follow the instructions on the screen.

Check if there is still a problem with opening the MSI Gaming application.

Start the MSI game application as administrator

In some cases, a higher resolution is required for the program to work properly. Try running the game as administrator, and then see if the problem persists.

• Locate the MSI game application and change its properties by right-clicking on the entry on the desktop, in the Start menu, or in the Search Results window and selecting Properties. In the Properties window, click the Compatibility tab and check the box next to Run this program as administrator before applying the changes.

• Find the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and click Uninstall after clicking it once. You will notice that there are different versions of the utility. You need to write them down and repeat the uninstall process for each one.
• Click Finish when the uninstaller completes and repeats the uninstall process for all versions of the Visual C++ package.
• Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads.
• Select the version you wish to download and choose the download according to your processor (32-bit or 64-bit).
• Find the file you just downloaded in your Windows folder, run it, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package.
• Click on the Start button, then click on the cog icon to open the settings.
• Click on the Apps button to immediately open a list of all programs installed on your PC.
• Find the MSI Game Center and click Remove.
• Click Finish when the uninstaller has completed the process and restarted the computer.
• Go to https://www.msi.com/support#support_download

Driver reinstallation

If you get an error message asking you to reinstall or update a particular driver, you should do so, as this may be the cause of the problem.

• Type Run in the search bar. Choose Run and the Run dialog box will appear.
• Type devmgmt.msc in the start dialog box and click OK. The Device Manager opens immediately.
• In the Device Manager, uncheck the category in which you believe the driver or device causing the problem is located. Take down the name of the missing driver. You should not hesitate, because you do not want to remove the wrong device.
• When you have found the device, right-click on it and select Delete Device from the context menu.
• You may need to confirm the uninstall process. Select the check box next to Remove driver for this device and click OK.
• Restart the computer for the changes to take effect. After rebooting, Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver and replace it with the manufacturer’s driver.
• If Windows does not automatically replace the driver, reopen Device Manager, select the Action menu, and then click Check for Hardware Changes. In newer versions of Windows 10, this is the leftmost blue button under the menu bar.
