- Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC NP-Q1u I wont this little beauty on eBay the other day as untested, I whipped out my trusty old retro universal power adapter and it powered up straight away! I am currently installing Windows XP Pro on, I've already downloaded the drivers from Samsungs website so it shouldn't be too long before this is up and running.
- On my Q1 with XP (BIOS 20MA) it simply won't install. Windows can't seem to match the.inf file to the hardware it sees, irrespective of whether I simply point the driver installer to the directory where the files are OR I try to manually install using the 'have disk' option.
- In my opinion, it's better to stick to Windows XP, 7, and/or some version of Linux, when it comes to OSes for this UMPC.The version I have installed here is.
- When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account 'Administrator' and sets its password to blank. Samsung Q1 Ultra - EL Tablet PC.
